Jocelyn’s curiosity in healthy eating started after experiencing first-hand how her diet was affecting her health in her teenage years. As she continued to find out more about Nutrition to improve her health, she fell in love with the subject matter which eventually led her to pursue her Bachelors in Food Science & Human Nutrition.
Upon graduation, she worked as a Nutritionist where she encountered a substantial number of individuals with diet-related medical conditions and witnessed the consequences of these conditions. Thus, she felt a great need to play a role in helping people prevent these conditions by empowering people to adopt healthier eating habits.
Dr Chong’s commitment to healthcare is readily observed in the myriad roles he has served as a medical professional. He sees it as his personal mission to improve healthcare management for Singapore’s ageing population, as well as advancing health technology and awareness for the next generation.

Kien’s zest for the health, wellness and fitness industry is not limited to him just being an avid gym-goer.
In 2012, Kien self-funded the development of a low-GI, low sugar energy drink. This energy drink was formulated in Australia, and was certified low-GI by accredited testing laboratory in Singapore. In 2013, he launched this low-GI, low sugar energy drink (Gopher+) in Singapore as a healthier alternative to the then sugar-laden sports drinks available. You may have come across Gopher+ in selected gyms!
Kien observed the misconceptions varying demographics had about health management, and felt a sense of purpose in taking action to address this. Together with his like-minded friend, Dr Chong Yeh Woei, Kien co-founded CuraMaker with the goal of uncomplicating healthcare management by leveraging technology.
His more than 25 years of active involvement in finance and business started as a student of economics at the Monash University, Australia. Kien graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University, and went on to pursue his MBA at the University of Chicago, USA. In his early career, Kien assumed various roles in corporate banking, consulting, investment as well as equities research.
Kien lends his vast experience in venture investments, mergers and acquisitions, commercialising products and services across Asia, Australia and North America to the growth of CuraMaker.
